Veneer con preparazione B.O.P.T.: caso clinico di una riabilitazione estetica

Introduzione: La moderna Odontoiatria si pone l’obiettivo di raggiungere risultati funzionali ed estetici con il presupposto di conservare il più possibile il tessuto dentale sano mediante un approccio mini o addirittura micro-invasivo. Per raggiungere tale scopo è necessario impostare un piano di trattamento, focalizzando la nostra attenzione sia sull’ “estetica bianca” dentale sia sull’ “estetica rosa” gengivale, e cercando di raggiungere un’armonia fra di esse; bisognerà inoltre mirare all’integrazione del sorriso con l’intero volto del paziente, evitando di riprodurre modelli stereotipati, che si porrebbero in antitesi con l’armonia globale dei lineamenti del soggetto da trattare.

Riabilitazione estetica e funzionale dei settori posteriori con tecnica diretta e indiretta

Introduzione: Ogniqualvolta dobbiamo affrontare un caso clinico le nostre scelte procedurali devono sempre basarsi su un’attenta diagnosi. Il termine diagnosi deriva dal greco διαγιγνώσκειν (diagignóskein, capire), formato da διά (diá, attraverso) e γιγνώσκειν (gignóskein, conoscere): per identificare, in prima visita, l’eventuale presenza di una patologia nel cavo orale di un paziente dovremo avvalerci di tutti i mezzi  possibili, attraverso i quali potremo poi stilare un piano di trattamento definitivo.
